  • ASCI Appoints New Directors

    ASCI appoints Klaus Zillner and Dr Stephen Morse to the Board of Directors. Their extensive experience and dedication to excellence will be invaluable as we continue our mission to advance the supply chain profession and serve our community.

    Klaus H. Zillner is a retired UN logistics expert with over 30 years of experience in supply chain management, military transportation, contracts, and procurement. Throughout his career, he has overseen major shipments, customs, multimodal transport, and budgets for peacekeeping missions in Africa, the Middle East, and other remote areas. Klaus is known for streamlining logistics, leading multinational teams, implementing KPIs and SOPs, and delivering cost savings through optimized transport operations. His expertise includes remote logistics, safety compliance, inventory planning, international shipping, project management, contract negotiation, and team leadership. Klaus holds an MBA in Shipping & Logistics, a Graduate Certificate in Business Studies, PRINCE2 Foundation certification, and several professional licenses. He chairs the ASCI Professional Standards Committee and now serves on the Board of Directors. 
    "As Director of the Australasian Supply Chain Institute, I strive to advance ASCI’s continued professional development for members and the broader supply chain community. I contribute expertise to communities of practice, encourage member engagement, and support our mission to promote professionalism in Supply Chain Management through fostering industry collaboration, accreditation, and advocacy," said Klaus.

    Dr Stephen Morse is the co-founder and CEO of Unchained Solutions Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based Social Traders certified social enterprise and B-Corp. He enables organisations to make a meaningful contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and improve their ESG reporting and CSR commitments, including implementing the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and the Modern Slavery Amendment Act 2021 (NSW). With over 25 years of experience in entrepreneurial leadership across the not-for-profit and private sectors in Australia and overseas, Stephen is a seasoned public speaker, thought leader, author, and strategist. He co-authored Small Business, Big Impact: Why ESG won’t save you but Smart Strategy & Real Action will. Stephen holds a Doctorate in Human Trafficking Intervention from Fuller Theological Seminary and an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Freedom Business Alliance, chairs the ASCI Ethics Committee, and begins his adjudicator role with the Australian Reporting Awards, in addition to joining the ASCI Board. 
    "As Chair of the Ethics Committee and a member of the ASCI Board, I focus on upholding and advancing the importance of supply chain ethics. Given its central role in the Professional Accreditation Scheme, I am committed to strengthening its application and impact across our profession," said Stephen.
